Creative Workshops

Gabi is a creative educator with seven years of teaching experience, passionate about cultivating the creative skills of people of all ages. They love facilitating workshop spaces where people of all skill levels can open themselves to the creative process.

Send Gabi an email if you would like them to facilitate a workshop for your school, community or faith organisation, and join their mailing list at the bottom of this page for updates about upcoming workshops.

Writing Workshops

Gabi enjoys working alongside people to empower them through creative writing, whether they write regularly or have lost confidence in their abilities. Gabi’s workshops focus on practice rather than outcome, facilitating safe spaces for participants to let go of perfectionism and find joy in unleashing their creativity. Gabi has led workshops on Creative Writing as a Spiritual Practice with Christian Students Uniting and guest facilitated the Mycelium Grove Writing Group for trans and gender diverse young people, as well as running an Advent Reflective Writing Workshop in December 2023.

Editing Services

Gabi is passionate about collaborating with others to craft poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, as both a facilitator and an editor. Their editing experience spans community zines, literary journals such as ARNA, the creative journal of the Sydney Arts Students Society for which they worked as a poetry sub-editor in 2020, and Red Room Poetry’s Poem Forest in 2022. Gabi loves giving writers encouraging and constructive feedback, and watching a piece blossom into the best version of itself.

“Gabi has an uncanny knack for getting me to write exactly what I want. They have a brilliant eye for what works and what doesn’t, and they’re able to get me to fix problems that I never would have noticed on my own… They work really hard to make sure my vision and aesthetic shines through in the end, but with polish I never thought possible.” – Toby, Editing Client
